This Kitchener bungalow was really something.
It had been purchased in 1961 and I honestly don’t think the homeowners had done anything in 50 years except accumulate furniture. It was like walking onto the set of “The Wonder Years”.
There was furniture EVERYWHERE. We counted 16 dining chairs (in addtion to the ones around the dining room table) scattered throughout the house, just in case, I suppose, a large number of guests dropped by unannounced.
We did a major decluttering, finished the wainscoting (which was only through part of the house), painted the entire place, rearranged all the artwork and changed a few lights.
What a difference! This home was brought into the new millenium while still retaining it’s traditional charm and became a warm and inviting space.
